How it works
What you know vs. what you think you know.
Every topic carries two independent 0–100 scores. Competency is the mark you'd get today. Confidence is how sure you feel. The gap between them is the entire diagnostic — and it's the number the app is built around.
Confidence > Competency
The dangerous one. You feel fine, so you skip the revision you needed. The app flags it before the paper does.
Competency > Confidence
You know the material. You just don't believe it yet. Different problem, different fix — and it's visible either way.
Together
The timer lives on the server.
Lock your phone, background the tab, lose signal — the session keeps counting, because elapsed time is derived from a started_at row and never from whether your connection is alive.
